# Your first time in PostSider

> What new PostSider users see after signing up: the onboarding flow, the calendar, and the setup checklist.

After creating your account (or completing email activation), PostSider walks you through the first run.

## Onboarding flow

1. **Welcome** - a short welcome step; when a trial is active you see a trial badge.
2. **Connect** - a connect step that hands off to the **Calendar** page and opens the Add Channel modal, so there is one connect flow for everyone.
3. **Setup checklist** - on the calendar, a three-item checklist helps you finish setup: connect a channel, write a post, and set posting times.

The checklist's completion is derived from real data (connected channels, posts, posting times), so it reflects your account's actual state. You can dismiss it; it does not block anything.

## Where to go next

* **Compose a post** - use the composer from the calendar or the main compose button, then schedule it.
* **Set posting times** - configure per-channel queue slots under **Settings → Queue Plan**.
* **Invite teammates** - add members under **Settings → Users** (requires the Team plan or higher).
* **Connect more channels** - open **Channels → Add Channel** any time.

Returning users sign straight into the calendar and skip the onboarding flow.
